Click on the link for the 32bit or 64bit version of the SSIS+ Library. Then you will see something like this:

Save As

Save the file in Downloads or wherever you choose. Click on the msi file you just downloaded. You will get a pop-up like this:

Don't Run

Click on “More info”. You will then be given the “Run anyway” option. Click on it.

Run Anyway

Now you will see a pop-up similar to this:

Setup Start

Click on “Next”. You will now get a pop-up similar to this:


After ready through the End User License Agreement, click the checkbox to acknowledge that you accept the terms in the License Agreement and click “Next” again. Now you will see a pop-up like this:

SQL Options

Click on “Next” again. You will now see a pop-up like this:

Ready To Install

Click on “Install.” You’ll get a pop-up asking if you want to allow this application to make changes to your computer. Click “Yes”. Then you’ll see the following:


Followed by this, once it completes:


Click on “Finish”. You will be directed to the webpage with the “Readme” information.

Post-Installation (SQL Server 2005 and 2008)

To enable the SSIS+ components in your Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS), follow these steps:

  • Open BIDS
  • Open any SSIS package
  • Open your Toolbox
  • Right-click with your mouse anywhere in the Toolbox and select Choose Items... from the pop-up menu
  • Click on the SSIS Control Flow Items tab in the dialog
  • Find the SSIS+ tasks you would like to use in the list and select the checkbox next to each of them.
