Database Configuration

Overview

Use the General (Database) page to configure standard task properties and setup a database connection.

Options

Name

Specify task name.

Description

Specify task description.

ConnectionType

Specify connection type. This property has the options listed in the following table.

Value	Description
OLEDB	Use OLEDB Connection Manager for Connection option.
ADO	Use ADO Connection Manager for Connection option.
ADO.NET	Use ADO.NET Connection Manager for Connection option.

Connection

Select an existing ConnectionType connection manager, or click <New connection...> to create a connection manager.

Database

Select an existing database from specified Connection. When specified Connection has explicit database, the database selector is disabled and selected database is displayed.
